Virtual book tours are the latest marketing phenomena for writers and authors. This allows the greatest flexibility for both author and host in that most details are pre-arranged and the variety of available mediums assure the greatest experience for both parties.
You can select your own method based on your preferences as the web master or blog-master. A virtual book tour offers you the option of choosing which activities you want to present. Would you like to feature an interview with Wright? Have Wright post a blog entry? Answer questions from your guests? The choice is yours.
Hosts can rest assured they will receive unique responses to all questions. There won't be any “copy and paste,” replies where your content is exactly like another host's. You will also have your blog or site featured on the “Events and Appearances,” area of Laurawrites.net for as long as you link back.
While this is an activity to promote a book, the conversation isn't limited to the novel. You can be creative and ask questions that you feel would be best suited to your blog or web site.
Criteria for Hosts:
These are the “rules and regulations” of hosting. Please read them before you contact us:
1. Tour chat sessions will be limited to 30 min. to 1 hour.
2. If you want to interview Wright, you will be asked to send 3 good interview questions at least two weeks in advance. This will ensure you receive thorough answers to your questions.
3. Personal bloggers are just as welcome as professional.
4. You must keep a link to Laurawrites.net on the web page or blog entry where you feature the event.
5. If you want Wright to create a blog entry, please submit a topic you feel would be most relevant for your site.
