"Death Would Be Too Merciful..."
It all started with just a few whispers. Just a slight noise from the emptiness that no one else heard. She heard them. Those sounds were her only company in that hateful place. She didn't know where the weapon came from, but she used it effectively. She was able to flee the isolation and the torturous clutches of her captor. She returns to civilization, but there is a price for her freedom. The help she readily accepted did not come free or without duty.
Entities return with her. She just wanted to heal, contented to be at home, but there is no rest. There is no escape in sleep or in waking life. She has much more to do and they expect vengeance in return.

Reviews:
- "The overall story line is a well-written psychological thriller. While wading through sketchy details and trying to make sense of things, the reader can almost hear Sculley and Mulder echoing the "do you believe" debate. The paranormal nicely ties together both the plot and the characters, which are both real and well, you must decide! Wright keeps you guessing throughout the book. You'll think that you've figured out what's going to happen, but you'll have absolutely no idea! A refreshing and unpredictable read for anyone who enjoys a deep personal experience into the questionable realms of dark horror which happens to skirt the edges of the paranormal." -Tammy Tillotson, "Leveling Truth"
