The Appalachian Ancestors Genealogy CD-ROM is a data CD that works with your internet browsing software to deliver both an established pedigree as well as vital information for hundreds of individuals who lived in and around Southwestern Virginia and Northeastern Tennessee for hundreds of years.
The collection features a fully indexed surname area for easy navigation. The in-progress pedigree has several lines documented at least a millennia and spanning numerous European countries. The pedigree features nearly 800 surnames and over 2,000 individuals.
The collection features an abstract of several Scott County court records as well as a glimpse into those working in and around the courthouse at the time of the trials. A collection of original natural photography, historic postcard images of the region and an introduction to the on-going cemetery project.

Try a manual navigation. Right-click on the CD drive in My Computer. Select "open" or "explore." A window should open revealing the files on the disc. Scroll down until you see a file marked "index." Double-click. The file will open in your internet browser.
