Days Of Sun

The snow melted into a warm Spring day,
Many seasons have passed since you went away.
We traveled through the shadows, into the blinding light,
Never did I dream of ever leaving the night.
Memories of yesterday, days of sun all gone by.
No one wants to play, they don’t even try.
A broken should, a shattered dream, smashed against the rock.
You left alone a soulless stranger and left a dream in shock.
The wind sang so softly and gave a lonely sigh,
Still in love with a memory, still can’t say good-bye.

The snow melted into a warm Spring day,
I saw your reflection in the water, by the way,
Never did I dream of ever leaving the night.
Memories of yesterday, days of sun all gone by...
