Body Discovered, No Leads

Bristol, VA- A Caucasian male body was found yesterday ten miles outside of Bristol, Virginia. Authorities are withholding his identification until any family is notified. John Doe was well preserved due to our recent cold weather front. The body was severely beaten and it is suspected the death came from repeated blunt force trauma to the skull.

The case of John Doe has been labeled a homicide. Authorities are currently interviewing neighbors and acquaintances in hopes of finding more information. When asked about the situation, county coroner, Devon Thomas replied, "It is a highly suspicious situation. I believe we have a repeat offender. We will find the person or persons responsible and they will pay for their crime."

We are confident that our local authorities will successfully locate the perpetrators of this vicious act

Authorities Suspect Serial Killer

Recent death matches over fourteen that occurred within past 25 years.

Bristol, VA- Authorities are convinced that the brutal death of Howard F. Newt was the work of a serial killer. When we go back in our area history, fifteen deaths have occurred in the same fashion and all in remote areas. When asked why no connection was previously made, Sheriff Joseph Stein replied, "There was no indication that these incidents were connected in such a way as to imply a serial killer. We now know that the signs all point to one person or group of persons. We are using every available officer to investigate this matter. We want the public to know they are safe and these vicious culprits will be apprehended and given the harshest sentences possible."

Investigation Continues, No New Information

Bristol, VA- The investigation into the death of Howard Newt continues, but authorities are disappointed. After a second examination of the site of the crime, no new information has surfaced.

Authorities are alarmed that there are no tire imprints to. The only tracks within a mile of the site belonged to Howard Newt. Authorities are baffled at the absence of potential evidences.

The investigation is still on-going. Calls have been pouring into the police station. Sadly, none have revealed new information on the crime. Authorities are asking that the public only call with information directly related to the crime.
